I always believe when you are using fresh high quality ingredients you will get the best results.

Cooking hack tip
Before cooking you need to be careful as hot oils might pop out while cooking it does this because of the oil and water being drop or mixed together.
Pro Tip for crispy fried catfish that is better quality than restaurant
While I was frying the catfish I use a glass lid for cover as they can spike hot oil which is very dangerous. Have your pot lid ready to avoid any messy cleanups after.
By covering the pot you can seal in a smoke that can help the catfish.
All through out inside making it juicy cooked through out and crunchy outside.

I believe having fresh caught fish and simple salt and pepper goes above and beyond.
Much more delicious than frying with cornmeal or batter with milk.
We have been eating this fried catfish cooking method for many years, loved by everyone this classic family meal.
- 0.5 kilogram Catfish
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 tablespoon pepper
- 2 cups cooking oil
- Fresh catfish on a mixing bowl and put salt and pepper
- Next, Put cooking oil in the pan
- Wait for the cooking oil to heat up and start frying the catfish.
- Cover immediately with a pot lid
- Wait for about 10 minutes each side to cook through amounting to 20 minutes in low to medium heat.
Pot lid is the key as it steams and help the fish being cooked through and the oil to help crispen it up. Make sure to pat dry the catfish before frying.
