You’re going to need:
- a basket or container of some sort (I used a clear plastic one from the dollar store)
- peeps, of course! I bought a box of 50 for about $4.00 at Target. You can also find them in bulk on Amazon and other online retailers.
- spray adhesive (I used Aleene’s Tacky Glue)
- mod podge (or some other sealant)
- ribbon or twine for hanging
Peeps Easter centerpiece is a fun way to decorate your Easter table. This centerpiece is easy to make and can be personalized with the Peep colors of your choice. It’s a great DIY craft project for kids, too!
Materials
Plastic bowls in various sizes
Large candy eggs or plastic eggs (we used these Easter egg shapes)
Bits of tissue paper cut into small pieces (we used tissue paper scraps from our Easter basket decorations)
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Directions:
- Place the largest bowl on the table and arrange your other bowls around it. Try to keep the bowls within a few inches of each other so they look like one piece instead of several separate bowls.2. Glue each bowl together at its edges with hot glue.3. Add tissue paper pieces around the outside of each bowl until it looks full enough for you (start with just one or two pieces).4. Once all your bowls are glued together, place your large egg in the center of your arrangement and glue it down with hot glue (again using just enough so that none of the egg shows through but don’t fill up all of its surface area).5. Now stand back
Peep Easter centerpieces are a fun way to celebrate the upcoming spring holiday. Whether you’re looking to decorate your home or host an Easter party, these projects will make your event one to remember.
- Peep House
This easy peep house is made from a simple box covered with construction paper and topped with a bow. The “peeps” are glued on top of the box before the bow is added for extra cuteness.
- Peep Garland
Want something quick and easy? Try this peep garland! It’s made from wooden dowels and tissue paper — no glue required. This project takes about 10 minutes but can be used for months afterwards as a decoration for any room in your home or office.
- Peep Centerpiece
This centerpiece features multiple tiers that add height to your table setting and make the peeps pop even more! Plus, it doesn’t require any special tools or skills; anyone can make this centerpiece in less than 30 minutes!
- DIY Easter Banner
This DIY Easter banner is made using letters cut out of cardboard boxes, hot glue and ribbon (or twine). It’s a simple craft that can be used year after year without losing its appeal!
Easter is a great time to decorate your home. Decorating for Easter doesn’t have to cost a lot of money. You can make your own Easter centerpiece with things that you have around the house.
What You Will Need:
A basket or vase
A handful of peeps
A few flowers (optional)
Easter is one of the most important holidays in the Christian calendar. It celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ and marks the end of Lent, a period of fasting and reflection. It always falls on a Sunday between March 22nd and April 25th.
Easter is celebrated with great joy by Christians all over the world. They make Easter baskets for their kids with many colorful eggs, chocolate bunnies and other goodies. This year, you can make your Easter celebration even more special by making these DIY Peep Easter Centerpieces.
These floral centerpieces are easy to make and will add an extra charm to your dining table during Easter festivities. The best part is that they look beautiful even when they’re not filled with flowers!
Peep Easter Centerpiece
This is one of my favorite Easter centerpieces. It’s easy and inexpensive to make, plus it’s a great way to use up some of the Peeps you have leftover from Easter!
What You’ll Need:
-A plate large enough to hold all of your Peeps (I used a 9″ plate)
-Hot glue gun
-Hot glue sticks
-Mod Podge (optional)
-Scissors or craft knife
This is a great way to get the kids involved in Easter crafts.
Materials:
- Construction paper (any color)
- Brown paper bags (the ones that are used for fast food)
- Scissors
- Glue stick or white glue
- Small pieces of cardboard (cut from a cereal box)
Steps:
- Cut out six circles from construction paper, each one slightly larger than one side of your brown bag. You’ll need one circle for every bag you’re using, so if you want to make more than one centerpiece, make sure you have enough of all materials on hand! The size of your circles will depend on how big or small you want your centerpieces to be, but I would recommend making them about the same size as shown above so that they’ll look uniform when all finished up!
- Use your glue stick or white glue and stick two sides of each brown bag together, leaving two sides open for filling later on! Then use your scissors and cut out the bottom flaps from each bag so that they’re ready to fill with goodies!
