Easter is a Christian festival celebrated on the first Sunday after the full moon following the March equinox. The origins of Easter can be traced back to ancient times when people all over Europe would celebrate springtime by gathering flowers and decorating their homes with colored eggs and other items made from natural materials like grasses, leaves and twigs.
These days it’s not uncommon to see felt Easter ornaments hanging on the branches of a tree or displayed on a mantelpiece during this time of year. Felt eggs are especially popular because they’re easy to make and come in all shapes, sizes and colors! In fact, I’ve seen some amazing felt egg tutorials online that feature everything from glittery designs to polka dots!
