Batman
For the ultimate Halloween costume, there’s no better choice than Batman. The caped crusader is famous for his bravery and devotion to justice, so if you’re looking for a costume that shows how much you care about your cat’s safety, our Batman costume will do it! Best of all, this cat-sized batman costume is easy to make at home—no sewing machine required!
To make a Batman suit for cats:
- Gather your materials: some felt squares (black or dark blue), pom poms (optional), Velcro closures or buttons with matching thread/tape strips, scissors and glue. You’ll also need some fabric measuring tape and an old pair of black pants that fit your cat snugly around its waist. If possible, get a pair with elastic in them so they’ll stay up on their own without any additional support from an undershirt—but don’t worry if you can only find regular pants instead; we’ll show you how to adjust the pattern later on.
Sonic the Hedgehog
Sonic the Hedgehog is a video game character who has been around since 1991, making him an oldie but a goodie. He’s a blue hedgehog with two main abilities: to run at super speed and to curl up into a ball, which he uses to attack enemies or break through obstacles. His arch-nemesis is Dr. Eggman (or Dr. Robotnik in Japan), who wants to destroy Sonic and take over his world, Mobius. Despite this conflict, Sonic is generally considered a hero—so if you have one of those cats who’s always trying to help other people out with their problems or pretends that every spider they see is their mortal enemy (like mine), here are some ideas for costumes that reflect this helping nature!
Ghostbuster
To make a Ghostbusters costume for your cat, you will need a white sheet and a battery-operated fan.
The first step is to cut out the ghostbuster logo from the sheet and place it on top of your cat’s back. You can use duct tape or safety pins to attach it in place if needed.
Next, place your cat under the fan so that the air blows against its fur and causes it to stand up straight like hair would when blown by an electric fan. This will give their fur extra volume and make them look like they’re animated by some unseen force!
Elvis Presley
Elvis Presley was an iconic American singer and musician who had a remarkable career. If you want to dress up as the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll this Halloween, make sure you wear a wig, white shirt, black pants and belt. You can also wear a wig that’s white or platinum blonde if you prefer.
Dumb and Dumber
This is the best costume to buy for your cat if you want him to look like a total idiot. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love my kitty more than anything in the world and he’s definitely not an idiot at all but there’s no denying that this dumb and dumber cat costume would be perfect for him!
The funny thing about a dumb and dumber cat costume is that there are actually several different versions of it available for purchase online. Some have Harry Potter glasses on their head while others have black glasses instead. It really does depend on what type of look you’re hoping for when buying this item because chances are good that regardless of which version you choose from Amazon or eBay (or whatever site), it’ll probably turn out great since they’re all so similar anyway!
Ladybug or Bumblebee
You’ve decided to dress your cat up for Halloween, so now what? What are the best costumes? We’re going to tell you all about it!
Halloween is the perfect time of year to get creative with your feline friend. If you want a fun and unique costume idea, then we have plenty for you! Here are some of our favorites.
Ladybug or Bumblebee: Your cat will look amazing in either one of these costumes! The ladybug costume comes with a cute red polka dot bow tie and looks like an adorable little critter ready to pounce on its prey (in this case: treats). The bumblebee costume is made from soft yellow fabric with black stripes that give it more character than just plain old black-and-yellow stripes would have done alone. You can order both of these online at Amazon or Target if your local store doesn’t carry them yet—it’s worth checking even if they do though since they might not know exactly when they’ll be getting shipments in yet since everyone wants their pets’ outfits too right now haha 🙂
Bunny Rabbit: This classic choice never gets old but trust me when I say that wearing one will make any animal feel instantly adorable while still being able to walk around comfortably without being too constrictive like some other types tend toward being – especially those ones whose bodies aren’t quite as fluffy as ours own personal companion here has been known throughout history for having been so blessedly fortunate enough as ourselves today does indeed look forward towards finding out whether his new found joyousness comes only because we all wish nothing else but happiness upon him each day;
Princess Leia in her Hoth outfit (or Leia if you’re not a Star Wars fan)
If you want to dress your cat up as Princess Leia, then this is the costume for you. It’s got everything you could ask for: the iconic hair buns, a quirky face mask, and even a pair of white boots (or cat paws).
The best part about this outfit? It can be easily made with simple supplies from around your house! We recommend using two pieces of cardboard cut into triangles (one larger than the other) as well as a pair of old socks and some black fabric paint. You can also buy one if you don’t feel like making it yourself.
Once your kitty is fully accessorized, she will look just like Princess Leia in her Hoth outfit!
Spider-Man or Spider-Woman
You might be wondering, how do I get my cat to wear a Spider-Man costume? The answer is that you don’t. You can buy them a special costume, but they will most likely hate it and tear it off within minutes. So instead, we recommend dressing up as Spider-Woman or Spider-Man and letting your cat be the web shooter!
The best part about these costumes is that they are available for dogs too. This means that if you have two cats and one dog then your whole furry family could be dressed up as Spidey characters from this summer’s hit movie “Spiderverse.”
You’ll notice these costumes are sold separately for each member of your household: The spiderman suit comes in black or red; the spiderwoman costume is blue or yellow; the web shooter is red with varying patterns depending on whether it’s an adult (medium) size or child (small) size model; finally there’s also the spiderman dog bedding set which includes an adorable pint sized bed made from soft cotton fibers with a printed pattern depicting everyone’s favorite wall crawling superhero!
Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon
While Toothless may be a dragon in name, he’s actually quite cat-like when it comes to personality. He likes to sleep, eat and play—just like your average feline! While his coloring may be different and his scales are definitely unique, he still has all the personality and quirks of a domestic cat.
So if you’re looking for an interesting costume that will make people laugh while reminding them of one of their favorite childhood movies, consider dressing up as Toothless this Halloween. You’ll be able to have fun making faces at people who don’t know about How To Train Your Dragon and explaining who this “Toothless” character is without actually giving away any spoilers from the movie!
Yoda
You may not be able to help your cat become a Jedi, but you can make him the next best thing: Yoda.
Yoda was a wise old Jedi Master who trained Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi in the ways of The Force. One of his students was a young boy named Anakin Skywalker, who would later become Darth Vader. Yoda’s most notable appearance was in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back when he appeared at Luke Skywalker’s home on Dagobah as an 800-year-old green muppet (yes, it was actually Frank Oz under that costume). He also made appearances in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace and Star Wars Episode II: Attack of The Clones.
Yoda is short with pointy ears and green skin—both traits that your cat will have if dressed as this character!
Dressing up cats for Halloween is fun!
It’s never too early to start thinking about Halloween costumes for your cats. After all, those who dress up their pets gain a lot of admiration from family and friends! Cats can be dressed up as any character—humans or animals, for example—so it’s no wonder that they are so popular on social media. Dressing up a cat can also make them look like an entirely different animal.
It’s important to note that there are lots of options when it comes to dressing up your kitty cat this Halloween season. You can buy a costume at the store or make your own using things around the house (like cardboard boxes). If you choose this option, keep in mind that some materials may not be suitable for cat safety but others will work just fine if used properly!
Conclusion
The best part is that you don’t have to spend a lot of money on these costumes. Some of them are free, or you can make them yourself at home. You might want to buy a few extras for when your cat outgrows one of their outfits. That way, they will have something new every year!
