1 yard of fabric (I used quilting weight cotton for this project)
1 yard of ribbon
1 package of wooden clothespins
Sewing machine and thread
Instructions:
Start by cutting out the pattern from the template above. You will need two pieces per holder, so print and cut out the pattern twice. Next, fold each piece in half along the dashed line and sew together along both sides using a 1/4″ seam allowance. Leave an opening on one end large enough to turn it right side out. Cut two pieces of ribbon that are long enough to wrap around your finished holder once, plus an extra few inches on each end for tying them together at the top and bottom of your holder. Pin each piece of ribbon onto one side of your holder, making sure they are even on both sides before sewing them into place using a zig zag stitch or serger

What you need:
Wooden board or similar
Dowel rod (optional)
Elmer’s glue

Step 1: Cut a rectangular hole in the middle of your board with your knife so that it can hold the eggs. The hole should be about 2 inches wide and deep enough for an egg to fit inside. If you want to use a dowel rod as an extra handle, drill holes into each side of the board where you would like the dowels to go then slip them through before gluing them down.
