Wedding invitation hacks are the secret to making a wedding invitation look expensive and professional, but cost effective.
Wedding Invitation Hack
Wedding invitations are one of the first things people see when they learn about your wedding, which is why it’s important to put some thought into them.
Here are some easy ways to make your wedding invitations look more expensive than they really are:
Use metallic ink for the text on your invites. It doesn’t matter if you use gold or silver — anything with a metallic finish will instantly give your invitations a luxe look.
Add a monogram to the back of each envelope (or even on the front). A monogram adds an extra element of personalization and can be customized with your initials or first names. You can also choose between different styles of monograms, like script or block lettering.
Use thick paper for your invite so that it looks like it took longer than just printing it out at home on regular printer paper. If you want something that feels even fancier, consider using textured paper as well!

Are you a bride looking for an invitation hack to save money? Here’s a super easy way to make your own DIY wedding invitations without having to spend a lot of money.
Wedding Invitation Hack
I love this idea! Wedding invitations can be expensive, especially if you want them to be personalized and printed on nice paper. The best part about this wedding invitation hack is that it allows you to get creative with your design and still save money!
The first step is to create your own template in Word or Pages or any other word processing program. Pick a font and color scheme that fits your style. There are tons of free fonts online or you can use font books from the library or bookstore.
Next, open up Microsoft Publisher (or whatever software you’re using) and create a document that matches the size of the card stock you plan on printing on. I used 8 x 5 1/2″ card stock because it was the closest size I could find at my local copy shop. You could also use 6 x 4 1/2″ card stock if that’s what they offer at your local office supply store.

So you want to set up a wedding website, but don’t have the time or expertise to create one yourself. We’re here to help with our wedding invitation hack.
Every wedding website should have these 3 things:
The Wedding Registry: The best way for guests to know what to buy you is by telling them directly on your site. In terms of functionality and design, our registry plugin is the best in its class.
Guest List Management: Your family and friends will be able to see who has RSVP’d and who hasn’t so that they can get in touch if someone forgets or needs some extra encouragement!
A Message Board: A message board lets guests ask questions about your registry or what else they should bring for the wedding day – it’s like an online guestbook!
If you’re looking for a unique way to invite your guests to your wedding, consider creating a custom invitation. These days, couples are getting more creative than ever with their wedding invitations. From sending them out in the mail to printing them yourself on cardstock, there are plenty of options for making your wedding invitations stand out from the crowd.
If you’re planning on using wedding invitations as part of your overall wedding theme, then it’s important to think about what kind of look you want to achieve when designing your invites. For example, if you’re having a rustic or vintage-inspired affair, then you may want to opt for an old-fashioned script font or hand-drawn designs. On the other hand, if your wedding is going to be modern and elegant then it might be best just to go with a simple font like Times New Roman or Arial. But remember that whatever type of font you choose should still match the overall design style of your wedding theme.
When it comes to wedding invitations, one size does not fit all. It’s important to consider the venue where you’ll be holding the ceremony and reception, your guests’ ages and the time of day you plan on having your wedding celebration.
Here are some creative tips for designing your own wedding invitations:
1) Consider the season when sending out your invitations. Will it be warm or cold when guests arrive? If it is an outdoor wedding, make sure you send out invitations early enough for guests to pack accordingly. Also remember if you are having an evening wedding, it may be best to avoid sending out invites in February as people may have already made plans for that weekend.
2) Think about how many people will be invited. This will help determine what kind of invitation design and wording works best for you. If you are inviting only immediate family members and close friends, then a simple colored cardstock with a handwritten note would be more than adequate. However, if there is an open bar at your reception and a large guest list, then something more formal may be necessary such as gold embossed cards with personalized calligraphy writing or even a custom designed RSVP card.
When you’re planning a wedding, there are so many details to keep track of. From the dress code to seating arrangements, you want everything to be perfect. But when it comes to invitations, don’t worry about finding the perfect font or which wording is best.
This hack will help you save time and money by using Microsoft Word’s Find and Replace tool to change all the information in your wedding invitation. You can replace the text with your own information without having to retype each line manually.
Wedding Invitation Hack
I have decided to start a new tradition for my wedding invitations. Instead of just writing our names and the date, I have decided to write a little bit about our wedding theme and why we are getting married.
This way, when people get their invitation in the mail, they will be able to see how much thought was put into the design before they even get to the event! It makes it more personal and more meaningful.
I’m sure there are lots of other things you can do with your wedding invitations, but this is just one idea.

The first thing you’ll need to do is decide what type of invitation you want. Of course, you can always head to the local stationery store and buy a set of pre-made invitations, but if you’re looking for something a little more unique, consider one of these options:
DIY Wedding Invitations: If you know how to use Photoshop or Illustrator, you can create your own wedding invitation. You can also just use Microsoft Word and print them out on card stock paper or even just plain printer paper. You can create a template that fits your needs and then fill in all of the details yourself. For example, if you are having an outdoor wedding at a botanical garden and want people to know that they should wear comfortable shoes because there will be grass everywhere, then include that information in your invitation! Have you ever heard of wedding invitation hacks?
If you’re a DIY bride, then you know how expensive wedding invitations are. Think about it: You have to buy the paper, envelopes, stamps and then pay to have them addressed and mailed out. The more guests you invite, the more money you spend on your invitations. It’s no wonder so many brides are opting for DIY wedding invitations rather than buying pre-made ones.
But what if there was an easier way to get free or cheap wedding invitations? There is! And it’s called wedding invitation hacks.
What is a wedding invitation hack?
A wedding invitation hack is a way to save money on your wedding invitations by doing something yourself rather than hiring someone else to do it for you. For example, instead of buying pre-made wedding invitations that cost $5 each plus shipping and handling fees, a bride could choose to make her own DIY invitations using items she already has around the house or borrow from friends and family members.
There are many different ways to create DIY wedding invitations with just a little bit of creativity and some extra time on your hands. Some ideas include using old books, magazines or even cereal boxes as materials for making your own unique paper cards; turning old CDs or DVDs
Wedding invitations are supposed to be special, but the cost of printing can really add up. If you’re looking for a more affordable alternative, consider printing your wedding invitations on card stock and then covering them with scrapbooking supplies.
The first step is to choose what you want to cover your invitation with. You can use anything from stickers to die-cuts and even paint. The idea is to create something that looks nice and also fits with your theme and color scheme.
Once you’ve got everything ready, it’s time to apply it! Start by laying out your invitation face down on top of the background material. Make sure the printed side is facing up so that you don’t accidentally get glue on it later on!
Next, apply glue or double-sided tape around the edges of the invitation and stick it down onto your background material. Make sure not to get any glue on the front of the paper because this will ruin any designs or wording printed on there!
Once all of your invitations have been covered, let them sit overnight so that they can dry completely before continuing with any finishing touches (if needed).
Now it’s time for some fun! Grab some ribbon or other decorative items from your wedding decor
Wedding Invitation Hack
I’ve been working with a lot of brides lately, and I wanted to share a secret with you about wedding invitations. It’s something that will save you money and help you create the perfect invitation! Here goes…
Wedding Invitation Hack:
The trick to creating the perfect wedding invitation is in the design process. Once you have your chosen design, select a paper stock that has enough texture and weight to it so that it can be used as the basis for a DIY project.
My favorite paper stock for DIY wedding invitations is Crane & Co.’s Crème Brûlée Linen Paper. It’s thick enough to stand on its own without an envelope, but still has enough texture to be personalized with stamps or letterpress printing. I love Crème Brûlée because it makes an elegant background for letterpress printing and also works really well when stamped using dye or pigment inks (no bleed through).
